I've always liked the story of the Ninevites praying to God and receiving compassion after hearing of their intended destruction. And admired our sister church in El Salvador watching them pray with passion. I hope to capture some of that here where we can share prayer requests. Shiends comes from when my kids were young and just starting to talk. They both had sleeping friends but couldn't say friends and kept saying "shiends". So "shiends" has been in our vocabulary ever since.
Hudson went home from the hospital in September & was on IV antibiotics at home for a month. He's off them now & doing pretty well.
ReplyDeleteEver since I posted the Ps13 section in August I think "How long oh Lord will you forget me"... I've wanted to post "the rest of the story. Even though I don't always feel what the rest of the story says, it does come to me in waves. "But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart will rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me."
