  1. Here's an update on Pietro & Fiona's family sent from Jacky.

Hi Pam, just to let you know how things are going here. Christina continues to make progress but she's still life threatened condition. The surgeons are pleased with her progress and hoping to do some reconstructive surgery on her leg and pelvic. She is still in an induced coma but they take her out every so often to check her progress. They are 99% certain she won't suffer any brain damage but ther is still that 1%. Nives is no longer life threatened and they are hopeful she will suffer no brain damage as she is so young 7.5 monthsand her brain is not fully developed. She will undergo surgery to repair her collar bones and shoulders that were damaged when she was thrown from the buggy. Loris 2.5 years is home in plaster but very traumatised. Thanks you for your prayers and churches prayers. It seems almost unbelievable that something like this has happened and what makes it worse is that the person did this did the same thing to another family 3 years ago - hit and run! I will pass on your best wishes to them. Pam

  2. Here is the latest email from Jacky re Peitro's family.

"Hey there, thanks for all your prayers. Things are going on well. christina had an op to fix her shattered leg and pelvis today and it went very well and involved a lot less work than they anticipated. She has to wear a leg and pelvis frame but they anticipate she will be able to get around with that even though it is cumbersome. Nives is responding to sound although when they brought her out of the induced coma she had some seizures. Hopefully this is due to the medication and not the trauma. They are hoping to have them both out of intensive care soon. I think everyone will just be glad once they have woken them both up completely. I cannot imagine how awful it is for them not knowing. Fiona send her thanks and has passed on your best wishes to Pietro in Italy. Much love to you all
    Jacky"

    Please continue to pray
    Pam
