I've always liked the story of the Ninevites praying to God and receiving compassion after hearing of their intended destruction. And admired our sister church in El Salvador watching them pray with passion. I hope to capture some of that here where we can share prayer requests. Shiends comes from when my kids were young and just starting to talk. They both had sleeping friends but couldn't say friends and kept saying "shiends". So "shiends" has been in our vocabulary ever since.

Hey Pam, sorry I haven't commented lately. The last couple times I came on here to put something down it wouldn't let me. I'm thinking of you guys, praying for you guys, and hope you are all doing well now. Have you guys been stuck with all the rain I've been hearing about in California?
