I've always liked the story of the Ninevites praying to God and receiving compassion after hearing of their intended destruction. And admired our sister church in El Salvador watching them pray with passion. I hope to capture some of that here where we can share prayer requests. Shiends comes from when my kids were young and just starting to talk. They both had sleeping friends but couldn't say friends and kept saying "shiends". So "shiends" has been in our vocabulary ever since.
I will explain more later but I received the call saying my endorsement as an Army chaplain will be pulled meaning any day now I could be done with the Army. A bittersweet feeling after 10.5 years. My emotions range from happy, sad, and bitterness depending on the time of day and who I talk to. I pray for the animosity and bitterness towards the Army Chaplaincy will be healed.

Will pray! Bitterness can cripple you, but I know how it is to deal with hurt, betrayal, etc and bitterness comes so easy. May God sustain you and show you that He has a plan for your good and not your harm to give you a future and a hope. I will also pray that God will work in the hearts & minds of those who are responsible for your endorsement being pulled. Pam
