I've always liked the story of the Ninevites praying to God and receiving compassion after hearing of their intended destruction. And admired our sister church in El Salvador watching them pray with passion. I hope to capture some of that here where we can share prayer requests. Shiends comes from when my kids were young and just starting to talk. They both had sleeping friends but couldn't say friends and kept saying "shiends". So "shiends" has been in our vocabulary ever since.

My former doctor finally found my c-section op report and gave it to me. New doc says all looks good for a VBAC.
ReplyDeleteMom & dad will babysit Ivan all of Memorial Day weekend so that Alex & I can attend birth training with our doula. Please pray that God gives them grace and that Ivan doesn't stress out, and behaves well.
