    HI,

    I think I lost my mucos plug this morning and may be leaking amniotic fluid. I will find out when I go in for my test at the hospital today. If I am leaking amniotic fluid, then I will most likely be admitted. My doctor wanted me to go to the hospital if I started leaking or my water broke. Please pray for God to work in all of this.

    I'm back home. The Nonstress test went well. The doctor wanted to do more than a swab test to determine whether my water had broke, so I had a comprehensive ultrasound. Because my amniotic fluid index was so high, the doctor decided my water had not broken and the liquid is just a biological response to the baby starting to come down. She said the ultrasound put the baby as being very large, but that ultrasounds were notorious for being a couple pounds off. She sent me home. It was a long day, since the hospital has fewer staff on the holiday, and for some reason there were a lot of women coming in for the same kinds of tests today. I have to have another ultrasound on Tuesday to make sure the fluid is still up.

    At any rate, you can pray that I go into labor soon, and that whatever the size of the baby God will help me deliver her in the safest fashion with good counsel from medical practitioners. Also pray that I will get enough rest to prepare me for childbirth. I had a bit of insomnia at 4am this morning & then Ivan woke up and I never got back to sleep. It seems all of our neighbors bought fireworks, so no one is going to bed soon.

    Thanks for the updates, Pam. I keep praying little baby comes out soon so will meditate on that even more today as I have the day off. I pray for your comfort as well and that you also are doing well. Thanks, Pam.
