    Alex learned today that the new management at work will be going on a retreat to create the new organizational structure. On Tuesday the new organizational chart will be sent out. Basically, if someone’s name isn’t on it, that person will be out of a job. If there are jobs with similar responsibilities, those people will have to compete for their job by proving in an interview their “relevance” to the company over the person. Alex is planning to update his resume this weekend and make a list of all his contacts just in case. He is obviously stressed about this.

    Alex’s friend Yura is also stressed out, because he recently turned down an offer to work under one of the VPs because it would have been a big demotion for him. This VP is known for taking revenge on those who cross him, and he was apparently very upset when Yura turned down his offer. The last person to cross him not only lost his job, but the VP went around telling all the managers not to give him any letters of reference.

    Yura’s wife Masha (an ER nurse) has been off work for 3 months due to surgery on her hand (when it should have only bee 2) only to find out that the doctor did a poor job most likely making her hand worse. She fortunately will be allowed back to do some “light work” but she has to wear a brace on her hand and can not do her real job.

    In addition, Masha & Yura have recently incurred a lot of expense when their heater broke down twice this winter and now their water heater is on the fritz.

    Please pray that God will protect Alex and Yura from the hatchet, and give them peace. Also, pray for Masha’s hand to heal in spite of her doctor’s incompetence.

    I have my next ultrasound on March 10. Please pray the cyst on our baby’s brain is gone, and she is healthy.

    Hey Pam, you have been on my heart for a few days so I think the spirit is telling me to pray harder for you guys right now. Now I have specifics to pray for so I've meditated on those. We'll keep the prayers going up all weekend for the leadership to make Godly and right decisions; especially the one you mentioned who seeks his own vengeance. You are in my prayers for a healthy baby, and mom, and I will add Masha and Yura. I read your other posts and you need to concentrate on your family especially right now with what's going on. Heidi's recovering but needs to rest a lot; I'm doing better and thankfully the kiddies have not been sick at all. God Bless you, comfort you, give you strength and shalom.
