    Hey Gary - I have a prayer request...YEAH! :)

    In 2 weeks, I'm leaving for a missions trip to Ghana with my work, The Salvation Army. Over the past month, as I am preparing spiritually/mentally/physically for the trip, there has been a noticeable increase in conflict/tension within our family especially our marriage....very obviously the work of the enemy!

    On top of that, my grandpa died on Sunday with the funeral in Alabama this weekend. It will be great to be with so many family members to celebrate his life but obviously there is lots of stress with all the planning.

    Please pray...
    *for God's increased presence & protection in our family
    *for God to shower us with extra measures of peace, patience, kindness and love
    *that God would continue to prepare me for this life changing experience

    Hey Julie, thanks for sharing this with me. I pray for comfort for you, your family, and your relatives right now. I pray for God's strength to be in your marriage in the way you both speak and show actions towards each other. We pray for God's increase of presence, and opened eyes to see His presence, and protection. And way cool on the missions trip coming up, I am jealous. :) I pray He's providing everything you need to go and everything your family needs as they stay here.
