I've always liked the story of the Ninevites praying to God and receiving compassion after hearing of their intended destruction. And admired our sister church in El Salvador watching them pray with passion. I hope to capture some of that here where we can share prayer requests. Shiends comes from when my kids were young and just starting to talk. They both had sleeping friends but couldn't say friends and kept saying "shiends". So "shiends" has been in our vocabulary ever since.
Sophie still has a tiny bit of blood in her poop, so I have to back to being completely off wheat again for another week and then submit another sample. Once we rule out or diagnose wheat as an issue, we will move on to adding a little dairy to my diet. Until then, it's rice milk for me. Please pray that we are able to get to the bottom of what is ailing her soon, and God heals her whether it is a food allergy or something else.
ReplyDeleteHudson is doing a little better, but still is in the hospital on antibiotics.
ReplyDeleteHey Pam; I keep saying little prayers throughout the day for little Sophie so will keep doing that. I will keep praying for Hudson also. How are you and Alex doing? How is Ivan doing now?
