    Please pray for us!
    I'm only getting around 2 hours of sleep a night mainly due to Sophie, but also partly due to Ivan waking up in the middle of the night. It's really hard to function, especially with a constantly crying or eating Sophie and a jealous Ivan who screams and makes noise waking her up just when I get her to sleep, or does other annoying things to get attention. I'm often not able to be the patient parent these days, because I'm so tired. I react to his behaviors rather than calmly dealing with them.I know he's doing much of this out of insecurity, but I can't give him the kind of positive attention he seeks right now.

    Sophie wants to eat all the time. She is either sleeping, eating or crying. She had green poop with blood & mucos. She has a rash on her face, neck & shoulders, and has some blood seeping from her belly button. Went to the doctor today. We have to do a special stool sample. She may have some sort of infection, or she could have food allergies. I have to avoid dairy, wheat, and some other foods. Have to clean her belly button 4x a day & bathe her 2x a day. All of this is a bit overwhelming when I am already so tired and can't do much of anything these days.

    I'm still healing from the C-section. It's less painful general, but I'm out of pain meds, and sometimes am quite uncomfortable. My back & neck are also giving me trouble.

    Pam, hang on. Do you have somebody to help you during the day - mom or anybody? Maybe you should try to get hired help, if not, it is worth it in this scenario I pray for Sophie to get better quickly. My thoughts are with you!

    Thanks, Kate, for replying to Pam. MY work VA computer won't let me on here to reply unfortunately..... But Pam, we are praying for you right now and for Ivan, Sophie and Alex. Do not try and do everything but really ask Alex for help. You need to have the C-section heal right so please listen to your doctor. I am praying Sophie's wounds heal properly and everything is well with her. I pray for strength and His rest and peace for you and the entire family.
